1. Eligibility: This bonus is available to new and existing clients of Moneta Markets who open a live trading account and make a minimum deposit of $100. This offer is not available to clients residing in restricted jurisdictions. Moneta Markets reserves the right to refuse the bonus to any applicant.
2. Bonus Credit:
a. The bonus is a non-withdrawable trading credit applied to your account balance.
b. The bonus is calculated as 50% on the first $1,000 of a qualifying deposit and 20% on any amount above $1,000, up to a maximum total bonus of $10,000 per client.
c. The bonus will be credited to your account after your deposit has been cleared, and you have successfully submitted the bonus claim form.
3. Trading & Withdrawal Conditions:
a. The Bonus Credit is a non-withdrawable trading credit. It is not real money and cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances.
b. The primary purpose of the Bonus Credit is to increase your trading balance, thereby providing you with additional margin to support your open positions.
c. Withdrawal Deduction: When you request a withdrawal of your own deposited funds, the entire amount of the active Bonus Credit will be deducted from your account balance at the time of the withdrawal processing.
Example: If your account balance is $1,500, comprised of a $1,000 deposit and a $500 Bonus Credit, and you request a withdrawal, the $500 Bonus Credit will be removed. Your withdrawable balance will be $1,000.
d. The Bonus Credit will also be automatically forfeited and removed from your account if you close your trading account.
4. Prohibited Trading Strategies:
a. This Bonus promotion is subject to the full definitions and clauses of the Moneta Markets Client Agreement, specifically but not limited to sections concerning “Suspicious Trading Activity” and “Default Events”.
b. Without limiting the generality of the Client Agreement, the following strategies are expressly prohibited and will be considered abusive in the context of this promotion: – Hedging/Offsetting Positions: Holding long and short positions in the same or highly correlated instruments at the same time.
– News Trading/Exploitation of Volatility: Entering trades immediately before or during major scheduled news events with the intent of exploiting price gaps or latency.
– Arbitrage: Exploiting small price differences between different platforms or during periods of low liquidity.
– Scalping (as defined in the Client Agreement): Placing a high volume of very short-term trades to profit from the bid/ask spread.
– Any other activity that Moneta Markets, in its sole and reasonable discretion, determines is an attempt to exploit the Bonus credit without genuine market risk.
5. Consequences of Abuse:
If Moneta Markets suspects, in its sole discretion, that any form of bonus abuse has occurred, it reserves the right to:
a. Immediately revoke the entire Bonus Credit from the client’s account.
b. Void all trades and cancel any profits generated from the account during the promotional period.
c. Close any or all open positions without notice.
d. Terminate the client’s account and the Client Agreement.
e. Retain any deposited funds used to facilitate the abusive activity as damages.
6. General:
a. Moneta Markets reserves the right to amend these terms or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.
b. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other ongoing promotion unless explicitly authorized by Moneta Markets.
c. In case of any discrepancy between these Bonus Terms & Conditions and the Client Agreement, the Client Agreement shall prevail.
d. By participating in this promotion, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the Moneta Markets Client Agreement.
